Japan Based ISFNet Hunts Qualified Candidates at ITHB
Working in Japan has become one step closer for Indonesian fresh graduates, as one of Japan based company ISFNet, ties the knot with one of the leading telematics university in Indonesia, the Bandung based Institut Tekhnologi Harapan Bangsa (ITHB).
ISFNet is an IT consultant company which establisheh itself back in 2000 and still on the move as their wing is being strecthed across Asia. The sort of China, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, India, Myanmar and The Phillipine has become as IFSnet overseas branches. Having been assesed during the interview sessions, the students must then attend an ISFNet appointed language instituiton for a Japan language class for a year. The purpose is to ensure candidates are able to communicate with the locals up to the business conversation level.
It is highly expected that within a year, all candidates would complete the language proficiency class and ready to be sent to Japan and start their professional career. Working in Japan is sometimes very demanding as the work ethic is quite different with another countries, including Indonesia. Therefore ISFNet apply some conditons for all the new comers. One of them is the very strict of no resigning policy for the new employee up to the first two year at the office. Once this period of two years has been completed, then the company will offer to its Indonesian employees the opportunity to choose their carrer path. The options are to stay and work in Japan, or asking a transfer to another country, department or just inter branch move.
For this year, everyone within the university were caught in surprise. IFSnet has set their plan to accomodate only 15 students from Electrical Engineering Department or Computer System Department. But then things changed in a blink of an eye and as a result, 29 students were finally recruited to join the world wide company. It’s a huge vertical leap in terms of number. At the end of the day as things turned out, Information System and Informatics Engineering students were among the late nominee that was included to make up “the out of plan” 29 highly achievers, good characther and passionate students joinning IFSnet.
